Unique Cotton Sari Baby Blanket

Unique cotton sari baby blanket. Each blanket is different and made from a beautiful vintage cotton Sari. The baby blankets are all double-sided, and only one design of each baby blanket is ever made. 

Zins Sari Baby Blankets are created using vintage Saris and hand-stitched using the traditional Bengali sewing technique ‘Kantha stitch’. The baby blankets are the perfect gift to a loved one, something that they can cherish forever.

Personalise the blanket with a hand-embroidered name or initials:

The baby blanket can be embroidered with initials or a name to personalise the blanket. 

Please note embroidery can take up to a week on top of the 2-4 day delivery lead time. 

Signed by the Maker:

Each baby blanket can take the maker over a day to make. Bengali women typically sign their finished garments as a mark of pride and identity. On each piece, you will find the initials of the maker, a personalised sign of their work. Meet your Maker HERE

How are the products made?

The super-soft baby blankets vintage Sari scarves and tote bags are all made using recycled 100% cotton Saris. All of Zins vintage Sari collection have been made by and have helped support marginalised rural women from Shantiniketan, a small town near Bolpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, India.

Sustainability:

Sustainability and making every effort to be as planet-friendly as possible is really important to us. That is why we only use compostable outer packaging for all of our orders, along with recyclable swing tags on all of our products. We try to keep the rest of our packaging to a minimum in order to reduce waste. 

Vintage material:

All of Zins baby blankets are made using vintage Saris. As a result, some products may have patches, we believe this only adds to their individuality, character and charm. All the blankets are double washed in the production process.
