Vintage cotton sari scarves

Vintage cotton sari scarves created using recycled cotton Saris and hand-stitched using the traditional Kantha stitch. The richly patterned block printed cotton scarves are double-sided, offering two different beautiful designs per scarf. 

The vintage sari scarfs are entirely unique, only one of each item is ever made, every scarf is different.  

The elegant elegant scarves are the perfect accessory to wrap yourself up in, dress up or dress down, or even use as a sarong on hot days. The scarfs are large enough to use as throws, brightening up tables, sofas and chairs and adding colour and style to the room. 

Signed by the Maker:

Each scarf can take the maker up to 3 days to make. Bengali women typically sign their finished garments as a mark of pride and identity. On each piece, you will find the initials of the maker, a personalised sign of their work. Meet your Maker HERE

How are the products made?

The vintage Sari scarves, super-soft baby blankets  and tote bags are all made using recycled 100% cotton Saris. All of Zins products have been made by and have helped support marginalised rural women from Shantiniketan, a small town near Bolpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal, India.

Sustainability:

Sustainability and making every effort to be as planet-friendly as possible is really important to us. That is why we only use compostable outer packaging for all of our orders, along with recyclable swing tags on all of our products. We try to keep the rest of our packaging to a minimum in order to reduce waste.

Vintage material:

All of Zin's sari scarves are made using vintage Saris. As a result, some scarves may have patches, we believe this only adds to their individuality, character and charm.
